 - The Cut Scene - Video Game Blog by Variety: Postals Box Office mystery
Jun 2, 11:33am (1 review) movies, box-office-numbers, postal, uwe-boll, boll-kg http://weblogs.variety.com/the_cut_scene...- This is a piece of sad news, really.
It seems Uwe Boll has really gained nothing from fighting back at the "internet geeks" and critics he so despises.
In the Name of The King was a major commercial flop and I doubt DVD sales will plug that financial pit(it cost 70 million dollars to produce).
Selling the movie as Life of Brian-style parody and an attack on mainstream Hollywood's alleged self-censourship in a post-9/11 world also did very little for him too, despite some indie film festival love here and there.
Now, this... What is Boll's production company hiding?
It's been nearly 3 weeks and nothing has been reported on Postal's numbers.
This may very well be the end of Uwe Boll's film carrer.
